Storage & Handling
To ensure the tape maintains its quality and performance:
- Store between 15°C and 25°C in a dry place away from heat sources.
- If stored below 10°C, bring the tape back above 15°C before use.
- Keep humidity below 65% and store in the original packaging.
- Protect from direct sunlight, as UV light can reduce adhesion.
- Use within 6 months of delivery for best results.

Can I use general purpose masking tape for car painting?
It is not recommended for automotive use or high temperatures. For these jobs, choose our Premium Masking tape, which withstands up to 110°C for short periods.
What is the difference between general purpose and economy masking tape?
General purpose masking uses a natural rubber adhesive and is better suited to decorating and finishing work. Economy masking uses a hot melt adhesive and is designed for basic everyday tasks.
What temperature can it withstand?
